Winscombe Bowling Club

We are a Mixed Club in the centre of Winscombe village which is near Cheddar and Weston super Mare in Somerset.
We were founded in 1921 by three gentlemen who played bowls on the lawn of a house in the village'Hampden'. >More
We are a friendly club that enjoys a good Social atmosphere, including our Monday Night Club and two internal Leagues.
However, we also play more competitively too!
The Men in the Somerset County League where we have 2 teams and the Weston Over 55's Triples League were we have enjoyed considerable success.
Our Ladies play in the North Somerset Triples League and the Wessex league.
Both the Men & Ladies play in National and County Club Competitions
